A minimum deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
Depending on the circunstances, a portion or all of any amount above the 25% deposit may be refundable -- this will be at the discretion of St. John's Activity Centre.
The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Toronto and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops requires that all renters from any Church facility purchased an insurance rider protecting both the Church and the Renter of liability during any function. The cost of this insurance is the responsibility of the Renter. This insurance can be purchsed through the Catholic Mutural Insurance Company or through PAL. Information will be provided to the Renter at the time of interview.
THE MINIMUM NUMBER FOR BOOKING OUR FACILITY FOR A - LUNCHEON IS 50 PEOPLE.
- DINNER IS 100 PEOPLE.
IF MINIMUM IS NOT MET A SURCHARGE OF - $100 WILL BE ADDED FOR LUNCHEON
- $200 WILL BE ADDED FOR DINNERS
IN ALL CASES OUR BARTENDERS MUST BE USED -- THE COST IS $100 EACH. For 50 people, one bartender is required. For 100 people, 2 bartenders are required. For 150 of more people, 3 bartenders are required.
Since we are a Licensed facility under the L.L.B.O.: all alcohol must be purchased through us. If a special wine is to be brought in (Weddings ONLY) the corkage fee is $10.00 per bottle.
Extra charges will apply for setting up an evening Buffet and will depend on what is required. This charge will be calculated at the time of booking.
We will try to accommodate special requests as much as possible. If a guest has a special dietary need, please let us know in ADVANCE, so that we may properly care for them.
